As my past clients will know I am now living in Margaret River, Western Australia. I left Ireland in September 2008 with the intention of taking a six month sabatical to travel around Australia.  However the downturn in the Irish ecomony led me to a decision to extend my time here.  Although I miss home, I can’t deny there are many great reasons to live in Margaret River! Not least amongst them are the beautiful beaches and many many wineries!  However first and foremost my main reason to stay is that in two weeks I will start studying for a diploma in Building Design and Technology.  I saw an opportunity to broaden my knowledge in an Industry that I have been working in for the last seven years, and I am curious to see where this new direction will take me!

When I originally started work on this website, I was in Ireland busy working as an Interior Designer.  The purpose of this site was to provide a showcase for my work. However, I now see it as an opportunity to share my experiences of Interior Design in Australia with everyone at home! I also hope to use it as an avenue to offer  design solutions to anyone who seeks my advice. 

It is my intention to post blogs at least once a week, potentially more frequently but we will see how that goes! I have so many ideas for topics that I would like to cover, but I would love to hear some suggestions from my readers! So for now, please enjoy the site…..and check back to see my updates!
